This stunning piece is the artist's tribute to the Orca beauties that grace the Puget Sound. Double layer plexiglass allows for organic depth an movement as though they are traveling through the oceans.

20x16" Double Layer Orca Pod on hand drawn on a hand drawn over a 1990s map of the Seattle, Edmonds, Puget Sound Area and backed with a photograph the artist took on the Pacific Ocean- this piece is one of our favorites!

The Orca are drawn on 2 layers of acrylic. The foreground hovers over the second layer of the Seattle Map, Orca illustrations and the final layer, with the photograph in the background. The layers between the illustrations create depth and organic movement within the piece. The photograph is one the artist took on Orcas Island in the San Juans.
